All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

I think I enjoyed this book for all the wrong reasons. It's cute yet sometimes embarrassing to reflect teenage consciousness, at least to me when I think of when I was one. While Violet and Finch are well constructed misfits in their own right, the dialogue at times felt flat and very unrealistic or often anticipated. There are fleeting moments that I did enjoy, but felt they were never emphasized or fleshed out. I DO think this book has an amount of heart to it though, despite its sometimes sloppy consistency.
