Croc and the Fox by Eve Langlais

4.0

For a third book in a series it wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good. I loved the characters, even though I was really annoyed with Renee from the get-go and would have enjoyed more dialogue and scence with the ornery croc.
The story continues were the last book left off and the continuation was fluid, which quarantees a fast understanding of the story background.
I also enjoyed the way they pulled layer after layer from Renee's past and discovered all the dirty secrets in no time. Her mother was quite intimidating, I have to admit.
Oh well!
Great read in the series and also as a standalone, even though I recommend reading the other books in the series first.
