 This book is based in New Orleans and we have fairies, sprites, vampires, witches, spells, curses and all manner of other legends that the city is known for. The books follows lawyer Alard Fairchild, who just happens to be the fairy prince to the Kingdoms of Earth and Sky and has been hiding in plan sight. Alard meets Razi who is visiting the city to attend a convention and their attraction is instant. After spending an unforgettable night together, they wake up to find that they are magically bonded to each other with an ancient marriage tattoo. To throw a major spanner in the works Arland is already betrothed to Meyda who is the Princess of Fire and Ice and if they can’t find a way to fix this there could be a deadly war between the two kingdoms. 

 

Well I have to say that 2025 is starting out strong and we are already two for two, what a great book, I really enjoyed this from the get go! I love the writing style, the plot is great and it flows nicely. I love the characters and it has a little bit of spice, as well as some nice bits of humour throughout.  I would have liked the ending to be a little more drawn out if I’m honest, it just felt a little rushed, but that may be because I didn’t want it to end!  I remember reading away and looking down to see how long I had left and to my dismay I was on 99%! I would definitely recommend, it just left me wanting more.
