As I Lay Dying
by William Faulkner
so, i did like this, but i actually wanted more! i’d really like to hear jewel’s point of view (he, darl, and cash were my favorite characters). i think this is a book i'd definitely have to dive deep into to get a fuller understanding (i used sparknotes to interpret some things) but i just don’t feel like doing that right now… otherwise, it was a well written book; i loved the depiction of religion and how the characters differed in the way they thought of what a christian is/how important religion is to them, and how they all dealt with their grief in different ways. the characterization was what really makes this book beautiful too...
