An English Bride in Scotland by Lynsay Sands

3.0

This was good book but not an amazing historical romance to me. The romance and passion progressed so fast and I prefer more of a slow paced build up. The plot is basically thrown in, as the main girl is being stalked through the book and instead of not going out alone cause she’s in danger she continues to do so. She then gets kidnapped near the end which was wild and Ross saves her. Turns out her sister orchestrated the whole thing as she is jealous, manipulative, and crazy. There’s so much more to unpack but it was so messy I’m not going to get into it. I will say I like Ross, he was a sweet and protective without being an alpha douche. I will continue the series through the library maybe. Overall the romance was good but would do well with a slower build up to it. Also didn’t need all the crazy mystery in it. Solid 3 ⭐️
