Easily the best fiction book I've read all year. I loved the meta, fourth-wall-breaky narrative, IMO it was done in a really well-balanced way that wasn't off-putting. The characters are all fantastic and generally well-rounded, and while it's not the most imaginative worldbuilding that's not really the point. I can appreciate Wexler's style of writing in this book isn't for everyone - honestly if you didn't enjoy the Deadpool movies you probably won't get on with this book - but I'd still urge you to give it a chance, as I feel like Davi takes her circumstances far more seriously.
