“When I know what I want, I don’t settle for less I don’t waver. And I’m really, really good at waiting.”

  • What a way to start 😂
  • Of course she has the shirt 😏
  • This pig situation is hysterical
  • His mom 😂
  • Awww
  • Ugh, I feel you, Josie
  • Yes! Communication like an adult 👏
  • This man cannot keep from sticking his foot in his mouth haha
  • It has to be shoes!
  • UGH!

This book had me alternating between giggling and cackling the whole way through 😂 It was SO fun!

I loved Josie right from the start. I 100% relate to her panic and over thinking tendencies. But I loved watching her opinion of Wyatt shift and change and grow.

“Adventures are fun! I told myself while carefully rolling my shirts and lining them up in neat rows at the bottom of my rolling bag.”

And oh, Wyatt. What an adorable grumpy softie. Loved him! And loved how many things he just adored about Josie. How he wanted her to be 100% herself.

“It’s the way he looks at you…like you’re all he sees…or wants to see.”

And the whole going on a sailing trip together was so fun and unique! I loved that. Plus it ended in Savannah, and I love that place.

“I want more moments like this. In fact, I want nothing but these kinds of moments stretching out ahead of me for as long as possible.”

The only thing I’ll say is that there were a lot of things brought and lightly touched on with Josie about like trauma and anxiety and how she always runs away. But I felt like that wasn’t really explored enough or ever resolved in any way. Like, did she end up ever going to therapy?

But other than that, I loved it! So so fun!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
