As with the first book in the duology, the world building is stunning and vibrant and inspire of all the betrayal and heartache, it makes me want to hop on a cloud and visit the celestial kingdom.
With even more plot twists and betrayal, this book felt well paced and kept you on the edge of your seat. The characters are well written and lovable (for the most part) and I really enjoyed Xingyin’s battle with her own emotions and learning to understand them.
