Spoils of War by Kari Gregg

4.0

This is the first of Kari Gregg's works I've read, but I hope it won't be the last. I really liked her writing style, which somehow manages to be spare and very easy to read, yet still manages to fire the imagination. And there's lots of hot sex, which is never a bad thing.

This is really a short and sweet story of the Cinderella variety, with a rather interesting twist at the end (no spoilers from me). It would have been interesting to see the story go on a bit longer to see more of how Micah deals with the twist, but you still assume that it's happily ever after.

The eBook (Kindle ed.) had some minor formating issues; mainly some extra line-endings here and there, although there were a couple of pages near the end that seemed to be out of order.
