5⭐️ alert!!!! Napolitano’s “Dear Edward” was one of my favorite Literary Fiction books that I read last year. This one also blew me away, cementing her as an auto buy author for me. I’m really looking forward to her latest “Within Arm’s Reach,” available 04/30.

William grew up never feeling loved by his parents after tragedy struck. He knew how to play basketball but didn’t have much else in his orbit. He meets fiery Julia Padavano at college and his world is shook to its core. The love present in her family, especially between the 4 sisters, is unlike anything he’s seen before. Julia and William marry and everything seems to be going according to Julia’s plan for their future. William begins to flounder, rocking the world they’ve built and fracturing the Padavano family.

Napolitano writes character driven pieces so well. She crafts complicated characters and messy families beautifully. Her prose is also devastating and stunning. I really loved this book have been thinking about it since I finished it. Definitely cried at the end of this one.
