Sex Robots and Vegan Meat: Adventures at the Frontier of Birth, Food, Sex and Death by Jenny Kleeman

challenging hopeful informative reflective medium-paced

4.0

the epilogue of this book was what struck with me. seemingly turning all her extremely well researched information on its head, kleeman suggests that the very technological solutions we seek to invent are actually what prevents us from growth. and throughout this fluidly written, thought provoking and accessible book kleeman takes us on a whistlestop tour of the fringes of society, while also intercepting humanity at its lowest points. though annoyingly cyclical at points, kleeman offers a jam packed, manageable but difficult to swallow book full of what the future holds.
