This book kept me engaged and while it was definitely difficult to suspend disbelief at certain parts I enjoyed some of the older themed Nancy Drew vibes. I definitely didn’t figure out the culprit until the end so the author, I think, did a good job and keeping the reader guessing. The characters didn’t have much development though but maybe that will happen in the later books.
