Keeping Her
by Cora Carmack
** If you have not read Losing It, do so before reading Keeping Her**
Review may contain spoilers if you have not read Losing It.
Keeping Her follows on a few months after the epilogue in Losing It.
Busy working in theatre, happily engaged, Garrick and Bliss travel to London to meet his parents.
It is a big step out of their comfortable 'love bubble' they have created around themselves in Philly.
Garrick comes from money - lots of it, and his snobbish parents go out of their way to make Bliss feel uncomfortable.
I loved Garrick's friends Rowland and Graham - sometimes no matter how distant you become from people, when you are back together it is like old times. They are just hilarious, but out to support Garrick, knowing what things would be like.
Like every relationship, Garrick and Bliss have bumps in the road, but it is what we do with those bumps that make or destroy relationships.
What does it do here? You will have to read it and find out
Fans of Cora's writing, especially G & B fans will love this novella it is short, only took me about an hour to read it, but getting more of the background of Garrick is well worth it.
I look forward to more.
