Crazy Stupid Bromance
by Lyssa Kay Adams
“People screw up. A lot. The key to a lasting relationship is the ability to forgive over and over again.”
Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third book in Lyssa Kay Adams’s Bromance Book Club series. This one is a classic friends-to-lovers with some major family drama plopped right on top. It deals with themes of loss, grief, anger, avoidable death, hackers, abandoned family, and organ donation. Yes, you read that right. This book is so full and there was never a dull moment. Adams did a great job balancing the relationship with the plot in this one. While friends-to-lovers is not at the top of my list for favorite tropes, I still really enjoyed the two main characters and appreciated their stories outside of their relationship. Not to mention, there were multiple points throughout this book where I was absolutely cackling (Thanks Bro Book Club).
Though it’s hard to choose, brevity tends to be best, so here’s one thing I adored and one thing I detested.
