Lullaby: Nightmareland Volume Two by Daniel Barnett
4.0
What do I do when I can’t sleep? Of course, that’s read a horror story. Lullaby is the second book in the NightmareLand Chronicles series, by Daniel Barnett. I was attracted to the series because these books are novellas, around 100-200 pages long, so are good for in between longer reads… for that short, sharp, jolt of horror! 😱
What could be lurking in the eternal darkness?
John Hawthorne knows that the moon cannot shine without the sun, so this means that other forces are at play behind the night. Everything feels sinister, terrible, and evil. Can he reach his estranged daughter in time? He’s not alone in his travels, accompanied by a woman named Mariah, who John quickly needs to stick around if he is to survive this nightmarish world.
