This was a cute book! The cover grabbed me instantly and the meet cute between the characters in the first chapter hooked me! I love how Max is a scientist and Molly is a mermaid, and who could forget about Ursula the puppy?? The star of this show!
This book started off great, but when getting to know Max's character more and more, I just really didn't like him. He is such a judgemental character and so hard on Molly while also falling for her?? I think that's why I didn't vibe with their chemistry throughout the book, because I felt bad for Molly half of the time.
