I couldn’t get past the incorrect and overuse of the ellipses mark and spacing issues. May I suggest the authors invest in The Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition.
The main character dribbled on and on over some child he was infatuated with for way too many pages. I really wanted to like this because the idea of Cain being the first vampire was fantastic to me.
