These two are quite the fucked up couple!

There are some fairly graphic descriptions, and the content warnings were definitely accurate, but at no point did it feel like it was taken too far. Literally the perfect amount of fucked up!

Now I’m terms of an actual review, I say this book is medium paced but for a mathematical reason. The trope of this book is friends to lovers, which I love!
However,
When they meet at the beginning of the book, it was instant chemistry though their friendship developed crazy fast paced. That being said, chronologically it was actually slow paced. They falling in love felt medium paced once it was finally acknowledged that they were friends and cared about each-other. Then the plot itself was focused on their relationship, which took a little around 200 pages to develop, which to me feels slow for the length of a book. But then the David twist felt very fast.

Math wise, it all equals out to medium paced, but my brain was a little confused by said pacing.

Overall, their banter was perfect and the two really helped each other grow. I’m excited to read the next book, it was set up fairly well! The Phantom chapter in this book has me excited for the next one!
