I really thought I was going to love this book, and i really wanted to.
Also the mentions of past sexual assault or the relationship with a professor was never fully explained. I don’t understand how the mc constantly referred to the trauma from it but never really explained how/what happened.
Also I felt the romance was purely physical attraction/lust and then a sex scene happens and they’re in love?? I really hoped they would’ve connected on an emotional level and then communicated their feelings rather than “professing their love” by sleeping with each other.
and why was lanto’s name never capitalized? it was consistent throughout the entire book (at least my copy), so it wasn't a typo…
