A Stroke of Malice by Anna Lee Huber

3.0

I really like all the Lady Darby mysteries. In this eight installment of the series, Anna Lee Huber creates a mystery that is filled with some nice sleight of hand (and physical danger) for our heroes. Though I will say the wandering through the crypt was extra creepy, and the Twelfth Night party seems like it could be a good time—though some things that happened felt like they were never fully explained. That being said, it was nice to also find out more about our resident scoundrel Lord Marsdale, and the seeds for some future conflicts.

Looking forward to more!
