I think this is the first book I've read in recent times that I can write a review about. New favourite even with all of the fantastic books I've read.
From a diverse author, written with diverse characters, Cemetery Boys is a wonderful celebration about life and death and love. The characters are beautifully written, the plot is fantastic and the building of the world is amazing. I don't know much about the religion, mythology and legends in the books but I have learnt so much about a whole culture from it. I read Labyrinth Lost earlier this year which touches on similar heritage and I am really looking forward to more books written containing the same elements.
5/5 stars, would read again, third book that has ever made me cry.
