Coming Home to the Comfort Food Cafe by Debbie Johnson
4.0
While this was book number 3 in a series I read it as a standalone novel, with no knowledge of what came before. The lack of that frame of reference made no difference to my appreciation or enjoyment of the book. It was a very sweet, yet easy to digest read, and more than appropriate for the feel good festive season. It was a book that made me smile, and provided some much needed respite from my own family/relationship dramas. My second romance novel in a short period of time, I am beginning to think that books such as this are the tonic I need for my own muddled love life. This was a joy.
