This was a unique story and it had a bit of a heartwarming yet melancholic ending. I wish it had been a little longer to explain more about the characters and the why of how things were. I was also unsure about the significance or meaning of the word “voice box” because it seemed to mean something so different to the characters compared to what it actually was. This story was very well thought out and I can tell the author had built the whole world in his mind. I just wanted to know a little bit more about it and more important events or plot points because it seemed to just glance over several millennia. I think a second read-through would show even more of the world development and detail.
