This is the first book where I was rooting for the happiness of the man over the woman. Valentina’s insecurities are such a main focus of this book and to watch her basically give up literally EVERYTHING because of them made me really really angry! And then Luca really gave her everything and she still refused to believe him. Idk it really pissed me off. Like how much can someone fight for you when you are constantly fighting them? Idk I was rooting for them but towards the end I kind of gave up on them. Maybe I’m in a negative space rn but part of me was just like “yeah just give up on this relationship dude this is exhausting.” Glad it had a happen ending but goddess.
