An okay book. I think it approached the topic of grief pretty well, and the dynamic between the three main characters was believable. I also connected with the inability to relate to close family members, whether it's due to different personalities or just past events.

However, the characters seemed to be too 'well-put together' for a supposedly dysfunctional family. One even managed to
kick a heroin habit and become a high-powered lawyer in a foreign country, while the other is a supermodel who can afford to ditch her career and then becomes a famous musician by the end
. I felt this undermined the believability of their traumatic upbringing and the event at the story's core.
