This book is just as good the second time around. I think Oathbringer is supposed to be the “climax” of the 1st arc of Stormlight Archive series (although Book 5 will probably be crazy as well, I’m sure). And this book is INCREDIBLE. From Dalinar’s character development to the backstories of some side characters, there’s so much amazing content in this book. I can’t wait to start my re-read of book 4!

And while Sanderson is famous for his "Sander-lanche" endings, the entirety of Part 5 is just... Holy crap it blows my mind every time.

Some of my all-time favorite SA scenes happen in this book, and while the pacing of the story is slow, I enjoyed losing myself in the worldbuilding. While I love so many of the characters in this book, the way Sanderson explores the world of Roshar (and beyond) is truly what is inspiring me to revisit these books.

Also, Adolin can LITERALLY do no wrong... If he dies in book 5 I will cry for days :')
