60s gorgeous film legend Evelyn Hugo contacts a skilled but not famous writer to write a book about her life behind the cameras and the reasons for all the marriages she's gone through. The writer Monique is surprised by the reason why such a famous actress has chosen her to write her biography. She agrees to write the book and publish it after she dies. Evelyn tells Monique the reason behind all of her marriages and the truth about the love of her life. After working in one of her most famous movies, she falls in love with her costar Celia St. James, finding out that she is in fact bisexual. Evelyn reveals to Monique that two of her marriages were arranged so that she and Celia could continue their relationship. After all her loved ones dying, Hugo decides she doesn't need to keep hiding the fact that she is bisexual, and so, after her death, all her secrets will be revealed.
