LOVE!

These two are my fave couple so far in this series! Not that I did not love Luca and Val together, but Vito and Maggie are just way too good together. Their connection, the spice, and the banter, all done so well! The book starts us off very strong with not only giving us a glimpse into their first encounter at the winery after their one night stand. But then going back a few weeks to give us a play by play on their encounter at the casino 🥵🔥

I will say, story/plot wise, I feel like towards the end that we were left with a few things unanswered.

Maggie seemed a bit too quick to accept all that came with Vito, after learning he killed those bikers. I feel like we should have gotten a glimpse into more of her thoughts around that. The bikers are gone? I feel like that ended a bit abruptly. Also I would have liked for Val to have made an appearance to help out her bff when her and Vito had the big blowup after the fire at the winery. I feel like she should have connected with someone from her own circle. Not that I did not enjoy that caneo from Enzo giving relationship advice lol.

Still, really enjoyed this one and can not wait to read whatever comes next in this series! Also would love to listen to this when it comes out in audiobook form.
