The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James

5.0

This book was better than I anticipated and I really enjoyed it, even though the ending felt like a cross between "hurry up and tie up loose ends" and "I need to up my word count."
I really wasn't expecting a paranormal aspect but it really didn't detract from the story. The whole thing flowed well, everything made sense, you liked the characters that you should, and despised the rest. No real twists and turns and while I wasn't on the edge of my seat, I did want to know what happened next.
