This book was good but I have some thoughts. Okay. I have no clue why Aiden got engaged in the first place. I understand the idea of him wanted to get his family off his back and he didn’t think he had a chance with Lennox. But to get engaged and break up in the first 3% of the book just seems unnecessary. I wish this book wasn’t a fake dating trope. I like a fake dating trope, but this is now three out of the four Langfield brothers to do that trope so it’s getting repetitive in this same universe. I really loved Aiden‘s journey with mental health and really not shying away from that. I wish it came up earlier in the book. It felt like it just popped up 60% in and I wish it was more of a through line through the entire thing. Overall I liked this book and I love a childhood sweetheart second chance. The main couple was amazing, they really understood each other better than anyone else and I love all the side characters too!! I just didn’t love the structure and some other smaller details. I would still recommend!
