Janice Hallett's book just work for me. This is my 3rd, and I have a 4th on myself.
I enjoyed the dark academia setting, the foray into the art world, the complicated and very morally grey cast of characters. I liked the heist and web of lies. I liked the epistolary format and the DIY style investigation. It was intriguing to try and sort out the truth. Relying only on people's words is a challenge, emphasising the unreliableness of the narrator but in a way that makes you feel like part of the game.
I Had fun with this one amd hope that continues through each of her novels!
