Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

5.0

This is one of those books I wish didn't exist...
There were times when I was in awe of Chris's/Alex's courage(you could even say most of the time)
There were also times when I was angry, confused, irritated and heart broken
I bought this book on a whim not knowing what it was about. I knew nothing about Krakauer or Chris or even this wild side of life that people try to lead. Every aspect of this book was new to me and left me wondering about things.
It could be the naivety of my young age speaking but at this moment I can say that I absolutely loved this book.
One thing that I'm clear about though is the fact that I really enjoyed Krakauer's writing. His personal accounts made me understand this book in a better way. I can't wait to read his other works!!
