When You Dare by Lori Foster

3.0

Not bad. I had some pre-conceptions about the author which proved to be unfounded.

Dare looked as though he was tipping into Alphahole-ness at the mid-point but then redeemed himself.

So, Molly has been kidnapped and is being held in Tijuana. Dare is on a mission to rescue his best friend's little sister and can't leave this unconscious woman lying on the floor. Unlike the other women captured, Molly isn't very young or extraordinarily pretty, nor has she been treated in the same way. Dare feels responsible for her and tries to find out why she was kidnapped.

I didn't think the identity of the 'criminal mastermind' was that big of a surprise, especially when part way through the book the POV switches to a hitherto unknown person - BIG CLUE there!

I thought the ending was a bit rushed - start to finish less than 10 minutes reading!

But generally a solid three
