I read this entire series in three days, obsessed with it and gradually learning to love Laurent and Damen. The characters had some great character development, it was fun to see them being confronted with their own beliefs and changing. This series also had some great plottwists and foreshadowing. 5/5 I recommend this to everyone who loves a good fantasy romance story involving two enemy princes.

SPOILER: There is foreshadowing that Laurent was sexually abused by his uncle as a child throughout the story but it is only confirmed close to the end that he was actually assaulted. Some more brief mentions of the uncle's disgusting preferences.
