I enjoyed this book, but it’s not as good as the 4 in the previous series by this author. I really liked the characters themselves and it was fun seeing the side character woven throughout the story. Their relationship was just a bit too many spicy scenes not enough substance. Hopefully this isn’t setting the standard for this new series.
There were a few really emotional scenes. And an aspect I really liked was that both characters knew what loving relationships looked like from their parents. And that they took the lessons that they’ve been taught from them and applied to their lives.
Would still recommend but just felt everything was rushed and a little underdeveloped because of how much was spent on the spice.
