A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin

adventurous challenging dark slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? Yes
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

3.5

i think that this was my least favorite of GoT so far? I didn't dislike it, it just felt like a B plot to me, and i spent the whole book waiting for a climax that never really came.  i may also feel that way because a) the last book was so crazy that i kind of expected this one would be the same level of chaos, b) because i kept reading while i was high, and c) because i waited so long in between books that i was like who tf are some of these minor characters i literally do not remember. i was glad to finally get a Cersei POV in this one but i missed some of my other favs' perspectives :/ and the iron islands stuff was interesting but felt like kind of random and irrelevant until the very end
