Jordan has pushed me right to the edge of submitting to quitting this series, or even reading some plot summaries and jumping to Sanderson's stepping in.
Jordan has shown both his phenomenal story-telling while showcasing his terrible writing skills. Most* characters fall flat, repetitive and down right exhausting. Some of the characterisations are just horrible, while characters like Rand have great development, Nynaeve is the worst character I've ever had the displeasure of reading, 6 books in and Jordan shows his inability to write women. The characters in a whole feel stagnant and uninteresting at best.
The engaging story and having a small handful of engaging characters has got me this far, we will see on the next book. I really hope
