House of Furies by Madeleine Roux

4.0

I was so into this! I liked Madeleine Roux's Asylum series and I'm happy to say I enjoyed reading this one of hers, too. The little snippets of journal entries could have been done in a different manner because I can't really remember much of any of them and I just finished the book. The main story was fun and Louisa never got to the point where she got on my nerves (which sometimes can happen when a character resists the story for too long). I thought the characters were interesting and I liked them. It pleasantly reminded me of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, although the books aren't that similar- just the vibes. It was a quick read for me and I'm interested in continuing this series.
