Regency Buck
by Georgette Heyer
Enjoyable to read, it's the typical story of the strange quirky girl falling in love with the broody guy she's always fighting with. Then minus about a hundred years and you've got Regency Buck!
Judith is refreshing to follow, although in the romance world now it seems every girl is the same as her, daring, bucking (pun unintended) the trends and being wildly admired, Julian of course is cold, uncaring and again the one.
There's a hint of intrigue and mystery thrown about towards the end with the to be expected villain.
