i heard so many great things about this and was expecting to love it because it has great reviews and seemed like my type of book, but.....i hated it. this book is a classic example of an author making trauma a character’s whole personality. there is no growth and it seemed so redundant at times. there were so many spelling and punctuation errors that idk how it even got published. the writing is weird and the dialogue is cringe. and bradan is not a compelling love interest at all. in fact, i would argue that he’s manipulative and toxic. both characters are. i’m not usually this negative in reviews but this really riled me because i think it had so much potential but failed epically.
