The Iron Knight
by Julie Kagawa
what is this book? why does this exist?
it was boring and flat and rushed and forced.
I hated it. Not to mention I found the entire book beyond illogical for the world the author spent three books building up.
She literally used three books to tell us "this is how it is. no way to change it."
only to be like "J/K you can do this."
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD SHE WAS A CHILD. Why would an immortal, who has loved and lost more times than she's breathed, give up everything for a whiny girl? I honestly do not comprehend the logic. He's not human, he doesn't feel emotion the way humans do.
I could understand these actions from a human. but not a fey. not the way she built them up to be.
ridiculous. I hated it.
Oh, and I figured out the entire plot about 400 pages before it happened. Literally, sometimes even word for word.
And I mean wtf about Ariella? Just no.
No.
too much love triangle. hate. do not want.
