Although it took me a couple of tries to get into this series, once I did-WOW! Loved the character development, the plot twists, the action, etc.! Now that I am invested, I fully plan to ride the wave and finish the series. Even though each book is LONG, it is worthy of the time investment. Love the fantasy, the scandals, the passion---it's a great series for fantasy lovers and those who have the time to invest in this complex world.
