What a chore this book has been. How anyone can compare it to the millennium trilogy is beyond me. I was expecting excitement and murder and intrigue and violence.... There were some vague descriptions of murders, only one of which was very enthralling. The detective went from one suspect to the next until I was bored out of my skull. It was literally like they lined up all the characters and just pointed the finger at one after the other. There was no thrill when I finally found out the killer, whilst still wondering if there might be yet another suspect and this was a ruse. Bah it was a crap fest. I actually hated it. And I love me some scandi crime.
