Love the adventure here. I don't usually read thrillers or mysteries as most of the time, the plot twists in these stories are predictable or expected removing the fun in reading these stories. However, with this story, though the ending was predictable, the writing and build up was way too good. It made me emersed in the story so much so that the things that'll happen next was not a common, recurrent thought. The love story sub-plot was also a nice surprise. I loved how it was beautifully written as a break within the intense action-filled plot. Though there were parts that were cliche and strereotypical, it wasn't that big of a problem. Also, the ending felt way too rushed. I didn't see any falling action; like we went straight to the ending. But overall, this is such a nice read.

P.s. I know this is part of a big book series, but I think reading this as a one-off is still wonderful. It ends in a very good point in the story that it's up to you if you want to continue with the lives of the characters or not.
