I found this really tricky to get into, I almost put it down a few times at the beginning. I think that maybe I just did not like Fayre. However, I ended up enjoying it. I think it was well written in terms of plot and characters. In the end I felt gripped, wanting to know where the story was going to end. Did think it ripped off nearly every myth ever tho.
