The past few months, I’ve seen so much about this book so I decided to give it a shot! I enjoyed her book, The Sun Down Motel back in 2020 so I had high hopes. Unfortunately it was a flop for me.
In my opinion, it was underwhelming, a bit predictable, and the characters were just “meh”. The main characters were doing the cops work, the cops themselves were trash, and two of the teenagers were geniuses.
Keep in mind- Just because a book doesn’t work for me, may not be the same for you!
