Of Mess and Moxie: Wrangling Delight Out of This Wild and Glorious Life by Jen Hatmaker

4.0

What can I say, I’m a sucker for sisterhood. This book is definitely most relatable if you are a middle aged woman with children or have had children, but there was enough humor and heart-felt rabbit trails to keep the whole thing interesting and fun to read even if you aren’t. Hard hitting theology book? No. Musings on facing life with Jesus and humor yes (thus the title really). It was a great pick me up in between schoolwork during finals, and I loved listen to Jen read her own book, especially when she would get choked up talking about how much she loved her parents or her kids or her girlfriends.
