pretty good for a cute kind of small town romance but not really. i liked it and the banger was cute but also it was kind of insta-lovey and some parts rlly annoyed me. like i hated how it seemed like she was embarrassed about their relationship and blind-sighted him completely. And then only i would have liked other friendships to be developed more. like she only has one friend? she’s 38 and she has one friend outside of her boyfriends friend group? no way? like yeah she had two others but they were fake yk. so i feel like their whole lives revolved around each other and like yeah it made sense but also it was kind of annoying because it didn’t feel very fleshed out??? i would have liked a bit more development on side-characters bc one of my fav parts of books is the little anecdotes like for example how doug always makes bets. that shits FUNNY. that’s all. still very cute tho.
