This was my second Emily Henry read after Book Lovers, and I think I liked Book Lovers a bit more, but this was still a lot of fun. It has all the things you expect when you read an Emily Henry novel: snappy dialogue, charming characters, sweetness just to the point (and maybe here occasionally over the line) of saccharine, ups and downs....and of course utter predictability. In fact, this book may have been just a shade tooooo predictable.

But still, I read. It's quick and fun and of course you root your ass off for all the characters you're supposed to and root for root canals for the bad ones.

If you need a good brain-cleansing book after a bad read (which is why I picked this up now), this is it!
