Awwwww this is really sweet. The grandmas, the tenant, the couple… all just really lovely. I appreciated a FMC that was self-assured but didn’t have it all figured out. I loved our MMC being a total goofy cinnamon roll, with a very thin veil of grumpiness. Even his silly shirts screamed LOVE ME!
I regret not reading this as a physical book. I’d like to go back and read it with my own ideas of how the characters sound. The inconsistent “New England” accent of the male voice was distracting for me, as a New Englander.
